This week I finally had time to squeeze in a lunchtime walk. Since two weeks ago, the last time I walked, it felt really different.
Everything was silent. Not even a slight breeze. You could hear the crisp autumn carpet of leaves crunch beneath your feet. The air gave a slight cold punch despite the stillness. Above all, it was just super quiet and cold.
The colours have changed again to darker browns with dying bracken, to silverly leafless birch.
It definitely feels like winter now. Brrr.
